Just attended a wedding yesterday, and today we are celebrating our third anniversary.
3 years, 1,096 days, 26,304 hours, 1,578,240 minutes, 94,694,400 seconds. Many couples can't withstand this amount of time, but we have made it through.
This anniversary, no travel, no gifts. Just cooking a dish together, boiling soup, ordering a cake + milk tea. Watching shows and having a meal, simple and plain.
Coincidentally, these past two days I just rewatched "Infernal Affairs," and the line from Chen Wing Yan to Inspector Lau Kin Ming, "You said three years, but it's been three years and another three years. It's almost ten years, boss!" is truly a classic.
What's even more coincidental is that while having dinner that night, we watched "Running Man," and there was a game of "Guess the Movie from the Background Music," and one of the segments happened to be from the movie "Infernal Affairs."
These kinds of wonderful connections, like chance encounters, are truly interesting.
